Maddie Making Pancakes with Mommy

Proud Mama with her big girl in the kitchen! She'll be a fine baker by the time Mommy and mahma are done with her!
Mommy and Maddie adding the milk together.

She learned a bit about measuring, dashing, pinching, and dumping!
She got to add the cinnamon!

Pancake stirring requires LOTS of consintration!

Check out that wrist action! Go Maddie!

Maddie learned about stirring gently and being careful to make sure everything stayed IN the bowl!

Mommy and Maddie's self portrait.

Enjoying the syrup the most. Notice the syrup looks a lot like soup.

Maddie eatting her finished product! She put her own syrup on so it turned out to be a little pancake with her syrup!

Mark asked Maddie what she wanted for breakfeast and of course she said pancakes! Her normal breakfeast usually consists of pancakes, oatmeal, malt-o-meal, waffles, or french toast. All are Maddie's favorite things to eat in general. However this morning Mark valuntered Mommy to make pancakes. So I did what every good mom does, asks if her 2 1/2 yr. old wants to help. So we dashed, measured, tasted, and ended up with yummy pancakes and great memories! I'm excited to start making play-doh and other concoctions with her! As the movie the Magic school bus says; "it's time to take chances, get messy, and make mistakes"!
